The CLC classes are self-instructional and are best suited for highly motivated and disciplined students. Native /near-native speakers are NOT allowed to take any CLC courses in their native languages. 101 classes are strictly for total beginners ONLY. Any students with background knowledge (including heritage students) of the selected language must contact us for appropriate class level BEFORE registration as indicated in the UA Academic Catalog.

Steps

1. Register online: http://mybama.ua.edu, same as other UA classes and many CLC classes are TBA
2. Class times will be decided taking into consideration the students’ and language trainers’ schedules
3. Read the general syllabus and submit the contract form to your language trainer
4. Start learning a new language
